One of My Greatest Experiences with God:  When I was 16, I was praying with some friends at a cottage on an island and I experienced what felt like God’s hand on my back and it gave me reassurance that God’s hand was on my life.

Most People Don’t Know This About Me:  have cerebral palsy; have one sister (6yrs, younger); love to travel, but hate flying; use to wrestle competitively; got engaged at 19, married at 21, father at 23.

Food: Sushi, Thai (chabaa), Lobster

Time of Day: Morning and Night (mid-day, not so much)

Place in the World: The Hebrides (on PEI)

Place to Pray: on my motorcycle (which is also the time my wife prays)

‘And may the Master pour on the love so it fills your lives and splashes over on everyone around you, just as it does from us to you. [1 Thess 3:12 The MSSG]

Now to the one who can do infinitely more than all we can ask or imagine according to the power that is working among us— to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever! Amen.

My Greatest Experiences with God

13 years ago  God’s gift in Ferne

11 yrs ago – on a bus….depressed…wondered where God was…I looked out the window and saw an amazing double rainbow….I knew that God was telling me he is and well… and totally in control!

2008 – Youth Retreat @ Blomidon – Tide out –unbelievable breathtaking beauty- God’s Creation is incredible!!!

Today! Life, Truth, work, family…

Most People Don’t Know This About Me:  I Love Chess, I play the cello and piano, I really am an introvert!!

One of My Greatest Experiences with God:  When I was in my 20’s I was to give my testimony in front of about 1000 people and had never spoken in public before. When the time came, I experienced a warmth and peace that was not natural and wasn’t nervous in the least. I often think back to this time when I feel discouraged.

Most People Don’t Know This About Me:   used to be extremely shy but God changed me!

My Hero: My husband

One of My Greatest Experiences with God: My husband was diagnosed with stage four Colon cancer three years ago.  Throughout the process of many surgeries, a major blood clot and nine months of chemotherapy and many other complications along the way we have felt God’s presence.  We have been able to get through whatever came along with a since of peace.  God has put many people in our path who have been very encouraging and helpful.  Many prayers have been said for my husband and our family and we have felt them.  My husband has had such a positive outlook through this process and has been an inspiration to me.  We can attribute this all to God’s love for us.
