Welcome to First Baptist Church!

Do you have spiritual questions or looking for a church for your children? Are you going through a difficult time in your life? Have you recently relocated? Have you heard good things about us?

What can you expect?

We meet for Worship on Sundays at 10:30am. Join the classes each Sunday morning from 9:00 to 10:00am, followed by coffee, tea, and fellowship.

The kids program is really engaging and dynamic, they'll love it. Casual, interactive, engaging both mind and heart, and some great music are all characteristics of worship service.

There are adult teaching electives from general Bible studies to topical subjects such as marriage and home lawn care (not really).

The Jr and Senior high youth meet to engage in conversation about today's issues.

Welcome Centre

As soon as you come our main door on the corner you will find our Welcome Centre. They are there to help you feel at home, answer your questions, and give you directions around the building. They'll introduce your kids to the leaders of the children's program and do their best to help them feel comfortable.

We are located on the corner of Ochterloney and Victoria in historic downtown Dartmouth just a quick walk from the ferry terminal.

Parking is limited though parking is free on the streets surnounding the church on Sunday's and evenings.
